Fuendetodos is the village where the brilliant artist, Francisco de Goya, was born. It is 44 kilometres from Zaragoza. The house where the artist was born (18th century) stands out especially. Inside you can see what houses were like during the Aragon artist’s lifetime. Just a few metres away you will also find the Etching Museum, where you can see a selection of works by Goya from the following series: “Los Desastres”, “Los Caprichos”, “Los Disparates” and “La Tauromaquia”. It is also interesting to visit the village’s “neveros”. These are 18th century buildings where winter snow was stored and converted into ice to supply the city of Zaragoza. Furthermore, Fuendetodos has a network of over 100 kilometres of trails and footpaths.
