Fort Simpson could be a village within the Dehcho Region of the territorial dominion, Canada. The community is found on associate island at the confluence of the Mackenzie and Liard Rivers. Each rivers were historically trade routes for the Hudson’s Bay Company and therefore the native Dene individuals of the world.
Fort Simpson is that the regional centre of the Dehcho and is that the entrance to the scenic South Nahanni watercourse and therefore the Nahanni parkland Reserve. Fort Simpson may be reached by air, water and road and has full secondary and grade school service. The Mackenzie route was extended to Fort Simpson in 1970-71.
