Fowler Methodist Episcopal Church, currently referred to as the Scottish ceremony Temple, may be a historic house of prayer within the Lowry Hill neighborhood of urban center, Minnesota. It had been designed by architects Warren H. Hayes and Harry Wild Jones. Hayes submitted the first style for the chapel in 1894, however monetary difficulties and Hayes’ death place construction on hold for a short time. Harry Wild Jones took over the project and brought it to completion in 1906.
The Fowler congregation incorporate with the Hennepin Avenue Methodists in 1915, and also the Scottish ceremony Temple bought the building consecutive year. They created some modifications to the area to accommodate Masonic rituals, however most of the first options were unbroken, together with intensive use of glass. The outside is made of exhausting stone from southwestern MN, along side red arenaceous rock trim. It’s 2 large towers, 3 arches over the entry construction, and a 24-foot-diameter (7.3 m) window. The church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.
