Fouts Springs is associate unorganized community in Colusa County, California. It lies at associate elevation of 1713 feet (522 m). It’s best well-known for being the headquarters of the New Tribes Mission. The post workplace was established in 1882, closed 1913, reopened in 1945, closed once more in 1947, reopened in 1950 and closed permanently in 1956. The place is called for John F. Fouts UN agency discovered the springs here in 1873. The springs supported a resort capable of hosting a hundred and fifty guests that operated here within the early a part of the twentieth century.
