The former Fourth Church of Christ, Scientist, currently referred to as the Hebrew Tabernacle of Washington Heights, is AN historic vaulted artistic movement vogue building placed at 551 foot. Washington Avenue, corner of 185th Street, within the Washington Heights neighborhood of Manhattan in the big apple town. Designed by architects Cherry and Matz of Manhattan, it had been designed throughout the years 1929 to 1932 by Fourth Church based in 1896 as side Church of Christ, Scientist, to interchange its politician Herbert Spencer Beman designed neoclassic building at 178th Street and Fort Washington Avenue that it had sold to produce land for the Washington Bridge.In 1973, owing to the dwindling size of its congregation and increasing prices, the church sold the building to the Hebrew Tabernacle Congregation based in 1905 in Harlem that had outgrown its Nineteen Twenties building on West 161st Street between Broadway and Fort Washington Avenue. Fourth Church isn’t any longer alive. On August thirty one, 2011, the building was more to the National Register of Historic Places.
