Detail InformationEdit

This historic guard station offers you a singular keep within the oldest Forest Service building on the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. This charming two-story structure was inbuilt 1916 underneath the direction of John T. Grey, District Ranger of the Mad watercourse Ranger District on the recent Trinity National Forest. The higher and lower levels of the guard station live 24×18 feet and may accommodate up to eight individuals. The lower level encompasses a massive room space, oak table, chairs, couch, and indoor lavatory accommodations. The higher level is finished in putting pinewood, has 2 beds, and is separated by a partition wall. A five-foot high construction adorns the front of the cabin.
