Foley sq. Could be a street intersection and inexperienced area within the Civic Center neighborhood of Lower Manhattan, ny town and – by extension – the encompassing space, that is dominated by civic buildings. The area is edged by price Street, Centre Street and Lafayette Street and lies between hall and Canal Street, close to Manhattan’s Chinatown and east of Tribeca. It had been named once a outstanding Tammany Society district leader and native saloon owner, Thomas F. “Big Tom” Foley (1852-1925).
