Detail InformationEdit

The First Unitarian Church of Detroit is found at 2870 Woodward Avenue in Detroit, Michigan. It had been listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
The First Unitarian Church of Detroit may be a type of architecture Revival-style church designed of red sandstone; though somewhat remodelled throughout the 1936 widening of Woodward, it remains well as designed. The gabled facade contains a nice expanse of masonry; an easy four-bay structure with a shed roof and stone type of architecture columns spans the primary floor. There’s a two-story hip-roofed projection at the corner, and a facet structure with stone piers covers a side door.
