The former 1st Church of Christ, mortal is associate degree historic Christian Science church set at 635 Clyde Street, within the Shadyside section of urban center, Pennsylvania u. S.. In-built 1904, it absolutely was designed within the Classical Revival-style of design by noted Chicago designer pol philosopher Beman. In 1977, 1st Church of Christ, Scientist, was selected a urban center Historic Landmark by the urban center History and Landmarks Foundation.
The building was sold-out in 1992 to the University of urban center that has since restored it to be used as its University kid Development Center. In 2005 1st Church of Christ, Scientist, decided by town of Pittsburgh’s Historic Review Commission and therefore the Department of planning to be eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places.
