Detail InformationEdit
Pyromaniacs will love Firepower – The Royal Artillery Museum and its impressive collection of tanks, cannons and armoury. It tells the story of arms from before the creation of gunpowder to the modern day. The multimedia show is a great experience for kids, with a shaking floor, dry ice, loud explosions and a team of actors who bring the history of weaponry alive.
Firepower tells the story of the men and women who served the guns and the technology on which their lives depended. Located in the historic Royal Arsenal, the World’s centre for munitions manufacture, secret for over 300 years and still a mysterious blank on the A-Z maps, Firepower takes you from slingshot to supergun, starting in the Field of Fire, where big screens, dramatic surround sound and moving eye-witness accounts illuminate the conflicts of the 20th Century.
