Finneytown could be a census-designated place (CDP) in Springfield administrative district, Hamilton County, Ohio, us, simply north of Cincinnati. The population was thirteen,492 at the 2000 census. in keeping with the us authority, the CDP encompasses a total space of four.0 sq. miles (10km2), all of it land. Finneytown is called for Ebenezer Ward Finney, whose burying ground is found simply south of this administrative district. The land was originally purchased from John Cleves Symmes by Rev. Ebenezer Ward, and given to his grandchild Ebenezer Ward Finney.
