Fieldston may be a “privately owned” neighborhood within the northwestern a part of The Bronx, big apple town. It’s finite by Manhattan faculty drive to the south, Henry Hudson drive to the west, 250th Street to the north and Great White Way to the east. It’s noted for its rural atmosphere, massive homes and its abundance of trees. The bulk of the neighborhood is enclosed within the Fieldston Historic District, selected by the big apple town Landmarks Preservation Commission in 2006.
The area is home to 2 personal schools: the pedagogue college, and also the moral Culture Fieldston college. The Riverdale Country college, the third of the 3 prestigious “Hill Schools” is simply outside Fieldston to the north. Manhattan faculty is found on Manhattan faculty drive, the neighborhood’s southern boundary. At the start of the twenty first century, Fieldston was one amongst the wealthiest neighborhoods in big apple town.
