Between Lofer and Waidring the Fortress of Pass Strub was built to remember the Tirolean liberation wars. Today the ruins remind us of this historical period, especially in the Salzburg region because in the Tirol almost everything was destroyed.
Warrior´s munument and excavations can be admired at the Pass Strub.
