Ferdinandeum is Austria’s second oldest Provincial Museum and was founded in 1823.
The Museum houses finds from prehistoric and early times, sculptures, Gothic, Baroque and modern works of art and the provincial library, including numerous manuscripts and papers.
Modern architecture in a dialogue with time-honored structural fabric: a unique art and culture from prehistory to present day. Special exhibitions in the Art Box, intertwined with exhibits from various collections.
