Fauquier-Strickland could be a town within the state of Ontario, set within the Cochrane District. The town had a population of 678 within the North American country 2001 Census. The 3 main communities within the town ar Fauquier, Strickland, and Gregoires Mill. All ar set on road eleven between Departure Lake and light beam.
The town was 1st incorporated on Dec twenty four, 1921, as Shackleton and Machin, the names of the 2 former geographic townships that comprise its territory. It adopted its current name in 1984, renaming itself for its 2 largest communities.Fauquier is found on the Marmota monax stream. The most community landmark could be a margin sculpture of a Marmota monax.
