Fairmont Hot Springs is an unincorporated community located in south-eastern British Columbia, Canada. This community has a population of 489, but receives many vacationers from Calgary, who come to play on Fairmont’s three golf courses (Mountainside, Riverside and Creekside) on the Columbia River, and visit the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort.
Fairmont Hot Springs Resort and all three golf courses were purchased by Ontario based Ken Fowler Enterprises (KFE) in 2006 and 2007. KFE plans to develop residential subdivisions, condominium buildings and an “alpine resort” village. Plans also include an expansion of both the natural hot pools and the family ski hill.
