Estadio Victoria is sports stadium located in the Mexican city of Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes. The stadium opened in the year 2003 and has a capacity of 25,000 seats. The stadium is multi-use capable but mostly used for soccer games and is the home-stadium of the Necaxa football club which had previously played in Mexico (at the Estadio Azteca) before relocating to Aguascalientes and Estadio Victoria. The stadium is named after a leading brand of beer brewed by Grupo Modelo, who owns the naming rights of the stadium.
With an Anti-Barra brava or violent anti-ultras policy,Club Necaxa plays at the Estadio Victoria, which seats a total capacity of 25,000 spectators. The first football match in the Estadio Victoria was on the 29th of July 2003 Necaxa vs C.D Guadalajara. Furthermore, Mexico’s National team disputed an elimination game between Dominica in which Team Mexico won won 8-0. In addition, The Copa Libertadores 2007 was played in which Necaxa reached the semi finals of the tournament.
