The Estadio Caliente, is a multi-use stadium in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, that is mostly used for football matches. The stadium hosts home matches for the Mexican professional football team Club Tijuana, who play in the Primera Division de Mexico, Mexico’s First Division.
The stadium was opened on November 2007, according to schedule. The stadium originally had a capacity of 13,333. On March 2008, the capacity was increased to 33,333. Stadium owner Jorge Hank Rhon’s main reason for constructing the stadium was his wish to have a professional soccer club in the city.
