Erythres is a village and a former municipality in the northernmost part of West Attica, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Mandra-Eidyllia, of which it is a municipal unit.
The ancient city of Erythres is located north of the present town. The Greek National Road 3 (Elefsina – Thebes – Florina) passes through Erythres. Other smaller roads lead to the villages of southern Boeotia. The Boeotian river Asopos flows east along the northern border. The area south of Erythres is mountainous, with the Kithaironas to the southwest and the Pastra to the southeast. Farmlands are situated in the valley areas. The Drios Kefalies lies to the southeast. Erythres is located northwest of Athens and Elefsina, ENE of Corinth and south of Thiva.
