The evenhanded Building may be a high-rise situated in state capital, Iowa. It’s named when the insurance underwriter evenhanded of Iowa, that originally closely-held the building, and is found on Locust Street within the downtown space of town. The 19-story evenhanded Building, at 604 Locust St. In state capital, was completed in 1924, and standing at 318 foot (97m), for forty nine years was the tallest building in Iowa.
The building consists of retail, workplace and residential areas. Since early 2006 a developer has been operating to convert a lot of of the building to condominiums.In late 2007 the most retail tenant, Joseph’s jewellery, proclaimed that they might be relocating from the evenhanded Building when eighty three years to Davis Brown Tower, situated at tenth St and Walnut. The move was completed in 2008.
