Ephrata could be a borough in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, u. S., thirty eight miles (61 km) south east of capital of Pennsylvania and concerning fifty seven miles (92 km) west by north of City of Brotherly Love. It’s named when Ephrath, a biblical city in what’s currently Israel. Ephrata’s sister town is Eberbach, Germany, town wherever its founders originated. In its early history, Ephrata was a pleasure resort associated an agricultural community. It’s conjointly home to the far-famed picket pillow. Ephrata’s population has steady grownup over the last century. In 1900, 2,452 folks lived there, in 1910, 3,192, and by 1940, the population had inflated to six,199. The population was thirteen,394 at the 2010 census.
