Entroncamento is a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 13.8 km² and a total population of 21,751 inhabitants. The municipality is composed of 2 civil parishes and is located in Santarém District. Entroncamento (which means “Junction” in Portuguese), is a major junction on the Portuguese Railways. The town has a railway station, railway workshops and is the location of Portugal’s National Railway Museum. The present Mayor is Jaime Manuel Gonçalves Ramos, elected by the Social Democratic Party.
