Englefeld could be a village within the province of Saskatchewan.The community was named for Peter Engel, Associate in Nursing superior of St. John’s Abbey, situated in Collegeville, Minnesota.
It is not renowned why Engel’s name was spelled otherwise within the village’s name. The encompassing space was settled by German Catholic immigrants in 1902-1903, and Englefeld was one in all many communities at intervals the tract referred to as St. Peter’s Colony.
