Encino could be a craggy district of town of la, California, u. s.. Specifically, it’s settled within the central portion of the southern San Fernando depression and on the north slope of the Santa Monica Mountains. It derives its name from the Rancho Los Encinos (Ranch of the Evergreens), a parcel of land given to a few Mission Indians by the Mexican government following its secularization of the CA missions starting in 1834. Rancho Encino was established in 1845.
