Elmhurst could be a community of Chicago in DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois. The population is forty six,013 as of the 2008 United States of America Census population estimate. Members of the Potawatomi Indian tribe, World Health Organization settled on Salt Creek simply south of wherever town would develop, ar the earliest famous settlers of the Elmhurst space. Around 1836, European immigrants settled on tracts of land on a similar creek. At what would become Elmhurst city center, a native of Ohio named Gerry Bates established a community on a tract of “treeless land” in 1842.
