Detail InformationEdit

Salvador parish church is an ornate Gothic building from the fifteenth century, although Baroque modifications were made to it in the eighteenth century, when a Communion Chapel was added and the bell tower was rebuilt. Located in the beautiful neighbourhood of La Villa de Requena it has been declared a national Historic-Artistic Site. It has three naves, with adjoining chapels in between the buttresses. The main front has three archivolts with images of virgins and angels. It is currently the only church open for worship in the whole of the neighbourhood of La Villa.
