El Estor may be a municipality within the Izabal department of Central American country. Before roads and railroads, Lake Izabal was the link between Alta Verapaz and therefore the remainder of the planet. What’s currently called “El Estor” was the landing and retail store for lading and travelers to frontier cities like Cobán. Ordinarily brought up as “the store” in English, the name evolved to its gift type owing to Spanish-speakers variety of pronunciation and writing system. Recent construction of roads has left El Estor a minor port visited largely by locals and therefore the venturesome traveller. The population of El Estor consists for the most part of Kekchi speaking autochthonal individuals.
