Edison administrative district (usually called inventor) could be a administrative district in Middlesex County, New Jersey. What’s currently inventor administrative district was originally incorporated as Raritan administrative district by Associate in Nursing Act of the New Jersey general assembly on St Patrick’s Day, 1870, from parts of each Piscataway administrative district and Woodbridge administrative district. Parts of the administrative district were taken to make Metuchen on March twenty, 1900, and Highland Park on March fifteen, 1905. The name was formally modified to inventor administrative district on Gregorian calendar month ten, 1954, in honor of discoverer inventor, UN agency had his main laboratory within the Menlo Park section of the administrative district. As of the 2010 us Census, inventor had a complete population of ninety nine,967, creating it the fifth largest municipality in New Jersey.
