Edison administrative division (usually called inventor) may be a administrative division in Middlesex County, New Jersey. What’s currently inventor administrative division was originally incorporated as Raritan administrative division by AN Act of the New Jersey assembly on Saint Patrick’s Day, 1870, from parts of each Piscataway administrative division and Woodbridge administrative division. Parts of the administrative division were taken to make Metuchen on March twenty, 1900, and Highland Park on March fifteen, 1905. The name was formally modified to inventor administrative division on Nov ten, 1954, in honor of discoverer artificer, United Nations agency had his main laboratory within the Menlo Park section of the administrative division. As of the 2010 us Census, inventor had a complete population of ninety nine,967, creating it the fifth largest municipality in New Jersey.
