Eastend could be a city in southwest Saskatchewan, Canada. It’s settled roughly eighty kilometres from the MT border and a hundred kilometres from the Canadian province border. The city is best familiar for the close discovery of a tyrannosaurus skeleton nicknamed “Scotty” in 1994. The city has used the invention of this fossil because the main centrepiece within the construction of a repository referred to as the T. Rex Discovery Centre, that opened on might thirty, 2000.
The centre is closely connected with the Royal Saskatchewan repository, and contains the RSM Fossil analysis Station. A former resident of Eastend is that the author Wallace Stegner, WHO lived within the city between 1917 and 1921 and featured it because the village Whitemud in his book Wolf Willow.
Eastend is found south-east of the Cypress Hills, east from Ravenscrag Butte and south from Anxiety Butte. It lies at associate degree elevation of 915 meters (3,002 ft), within the natural depression of the Frenchman watercourse. The Eastend Reservoir was engineered upstream from the community.
