East Greenbush may be a city in Rensselaer County, New York, USA. The word Greenbush comes from the Dutch “Greenen Bosch,” pertaining to the pine woods that originally coated the land. the primary settlement of the land currently referred to as East Greenbush was created by tenants underneath Patroon Kiliaen van Rensselaer around 1630. The city was fashioned in 1855 because the city of Clinton, the name dynamic to East Greenbush 3 years later. it’s largely residential district on its major highways and rural within the southwestern and northeastern corners.
