Dutch John could be a tiny census-designated place set in jap Daggett County, Utah, u. s., concerning four miles (6.4km) northeast of the Flaming Gorge Dam on U.S. Route 191. The city was platted and made starting in 1957 by the u. s. Bureau of Reclamation to accommodate staff performing on the development of Flaming Gorge Dam. when the dam’s completion in 1964, Dutch John became home to a smaller range of dam maintenance and operations personnel, yet as workers of the u. s. Forest Service.
