STADIUM OVERVIEW: In 1959 the Durham County Memorial construction was engineered at the current web site and have become the house of major county sporting and community events. A freshly restored Durham County Memorial construction reopened within the fall of 2010 with new and upgraded facilities, options and services for the voters of Durham.
The construction has become the house soccer enjoying field for Division II Shaw University, the host for the Central extramural Athletic Association (CIAA) soccer championship game, various highschool and also the semi professional women’s tackle squad, the geographical region Phoenix. The renovation has enclosed an authorized eight lane track that has attracts various track and field highschool and body events. Additionally to hosting spring carnivals, motorbike rallies, outside concerts the construction is listed as a premier North geographical region web site for show and industrial productions.
