The city library is found in downtown city, Minnesota. It’s a region of the point Library System and serves a population of eighty six,918. The city Public Library’s assortment includes books, audiobooks, downloadable e-books, DVDs, Cds, videotapes, recordings, large-print materials, maps, globes, framed prints, pamphlet files, story kits, government documents, newspapers, serials, and microfilm. The library provides free access to computers with web access, data processing, tutorials on laptop use, reference info subscriptions, children’s games, and printers. Free wireless web access is additionally offered.
In 1980, a replacement city library building opened at 520 W. Superior St. Noted designer Gunnar Birkerts designed the building. In 2008 it underwent renovations, together with AN dilated laptop laboratory, new rug throughout, and new furnishings.
