Ducktown may be a town in President of the {united states|United States President|President|Chief Executive} County, Tennessee, United States. The population was 427 at the 2000 census. It’s enclosed within the Cleveland Metropolitan applied math space. The town is placed at the middle of the Copper Basin (sometimes referred to as the Ducktown Basin), a broad vale set within the southern Appalachians close to the intersection of Tennessee, Georgia, and North Carolina. The Ducktown space is an element of the Ocoee watercourse watershed, that passes through the Copper Basin a number of miles southwest of Ducktown before coming into its gorge. Ducktown is targeted simply north of the junction of Tennessee State Route sixty eight, that connects the town to Madisonville to the north and Copperhill to the south, and U.S. Route 64, that connects the town to Cleveland (via the Ocoee watercourse Gorge) to the west and solanaceous vegetable, North Carolina to the east. In line with the u. S. Government agency, the town incorporates a total space of one.9 sq. Miles (4.9 km2), all land.
