Dubois, WY was originally called ne’er Sweat because of its heat and dry winds. However, the mail found the name ne’er Sweat unacceptable therefore Dubois was accepted, named once Fred Dubois, Associate in Nursing Gem State legislator at the time. per the u. s. Bureau of the Census, the city contains a total space of two.6square miles (6.8Square kilometers), of which, 2.6squaremiles (6.7Square kilometers) of it’s land and zero.38% is water. Dubois may be a city in John Charles Fremont County, Wyoming, u. s.. The population was 962 at the 2000 census, though it nearly doubles within the summer with several part-time residents.
