The Double Diamond resort hotel eating Hall was inbuilt 1945 because the centerpiece of a resort hotel operated by Frank Williams and Joseph S. Clark, Jr. in Grand Teton park. The ranch was opened in 1924 with a dozen tent cabins and log buildings for a room and eating hall, lounge and commissary. In 1943 Williams designed log holidaymaker cabins, followed by the larger eating hall in 1945. The 1985 Taggart Lake hearth destroyed a lot of of the ranch, frugal solely the eating hall and 5 cabins. The eating hall is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as Associate in Nursing example of rustic design.
