Doral may be a town set in north-central Miami-Dade County, Florida, u. S.. A suburb of Miami, it lies north-west of Miami International aerodrome. It takes its name from the far-famed golf and spa resort set among its municipal boundaries. The Doral Golf Resort & Spa was originally engineered by Greek deity and Alfred Kaskel, World Health Organization coined “Doral” by combining their names. The town of Doral was incorporated at the side of Miami Gardens in 2003. As of the 2000 census, the population was twenty,438. Per 2009 U.S. Census estimates, the town had a population of forty six,000 creating it one of the quickest growing cities in Miami-Dade County. For a town of its size, Doral includes a sizable amount of retailers, money establishments and businesses, particularly importers and exporters, primarily attributable to its proximity to the Miami International Airport. In 2008, Fortune Small Business and CNN Money ranked Doral as 51 on a list of 100 cities with the best mix of business advantages and lifestyle appeal.
