Detail InformationEdit

In the late 17th century, an inn was built facing the Dole St. Anna’s Church. The Dole Social Activities Association, founded in 1907, reconstructed the inn building for its own needs and in 1911, opened a community centre. After World War I, the building became a local government property.
The building was reconstructed according to the design by architect K. Zēverss. It once also accommodated a post office, a shop and a library. During the Soviet era, the building hosted a village council.
Later, the house became property of a collective farm (kolkhoz). At present, the Dole Community Centre is owned by the Ķekava municipality. It hosts the Tourist Information Centre, the Ķekava Local History Museum, a library and a function hall for events and conferences.
