Doak Field (or The Doak) may be a baseball venue that opened in 1966 as home to the North geographic area State University Wolfpack school squad of the NCAA’s Division I coast Conference (ACC). The construction is found in Raleigh, North geographic area on {nc|North geographic area|Old North State|Tar Heel State|NC|American state} State’s North Carolina State University Main field#Central Campus, behind Lee and Sullivan residence halls. The diamond is within the north/northwest corner of its block, that is delimited by Thurman Drive (third base, north/northeast); Dail Park and therefore the residence halls (left field, east/southeast); Sullivan Drive (right field, south/southwest); and Varsity Drive (first base, west/northwest). Its spaciousness is two,200 spectators. Doak Field hosted the coast Conference Baseball Tournament in each 1974 and in 1980. American state State won the championship in 1974, whereas Clemson won in 1980.
