Dibru-Saikhowa National Park is a national wildlife park in Tinsukia, Assam. Dibru-Saikhowa National Park has two entry points at Guijan Ghat and Saikhowa Ghat which are easily accessed from Tinsukia – the nearest town. Laika and Dhadia are two forest villages that are present at the periphery inside the Park. Dibru-Saikhowa National Park is situated about 42 kms from the Dibrugarh town and 12 kms north of Tinsukia town. This national park is located on the border of Dibrugarh and Tinsukia district and covers an area of 350 sq kms. It is a biosphere reserve and has an average altitude of 118 m. The park is surrounded by the mighty Brahmaputra and Lohit rivers on the north and Dibru River on the south. The hills of Arunachal Pradesh on the north and the Patkai hills on the south also bound the park.The park lies near the Brahmaputra River too, thus picture perfect moments can be captured through your camera during your visit to the park. You can mainly spot feral horses in Dibru Saikhova National Park, and these are horses which were once domesticated and then let out into the wild. Elephants, tigers, water buffalos, gibbons, capped langurs, pelicans, white bellied herons, Brahmini ducks, bar headed geese, fishing eagles and river dolphins can also be spotted in this national park.

By Train : You can also opt for trains to the town of Tinsukia, from where you can catch buses directly to the national park in Dibru Saikhova. These trains will charge you fares of around Rs 2,245 for third tier air conditioned coaches. This is one of the easiest ways to reach the town of Tinsukia. Rajdhani trains that run from the capital city Delhi to Dibrugarh pass through this route.
