The DeVinne Press Building, placed at 393-399 Lafayette Street at the corner of East fourth Street, within the NoHo district of lower Manhattan, the big apple town, could be a brick structure, inbuilt 1885-1886 and designed by the firm of Babb, Cook & Willard in vogue|style of architecture|type of architecture} Revival style. Associate addition was created to the building in 1892.Theodore Low American state Vinne, a number one the big apple setter and printer had the building created for his company. DeVinne died in 1914, and by 1922, the corporate ceased operations. The building was purchased in 1982 by the late king Fisher. It’s currently occupied by the Astor Center, closely-held by the Fisher family. The Devinne Press Building was selected a brand new House of York town landmark in 1966, and was adscititious to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.
