BUS : The state road transport offers bus services from Mumbai, Pune to Panchgani. The bus fare is close to Rs. 300. One can also opt for a private tour operator, charges for which will depend on the kind of bus you are choosing Super fast, Deluxe, Luxury, Sleeper, etc.

Train : Pune Railway station, about 95 km away, is the major railway station near to Panchagani. Pune is well connected to all cities in India by rail. Pre-paid taxi services are available from Pune to Panchagani which costs about Rs 2500. Another railway station near to this hill station called Wathar but it is not well connected .

Air : The closest airport is at Pune, 98 kms from Panchgani. Pune is well connected to Mumbai, Goa and Bangalore through many well known airlines. Be sure about your driving skills on the steep slopes of Panchgani. You will easily find hired motorbikes but do take care because the roads may actually turn out to be quite steep and it may be difficult for you to ride.
