Des Plaines may be a town in Cook County, Illinois, u. s.. it’s adopted the official nickname of “City of Destiny.” As of the 2000 census. it’s a residential district of Chicago, and is next to O’Hare International field. The Des Plaines stream runs through the town, simply east of its downtown space. consistent with the u. s. office, the town encompasses a total space of fourteen.5 sq. miles (38km2).Of this, 14.4 sq. miles (37km2) of it’s land and zero.1 sq. miles (0.26km2) of it (0.76%) is water.
