The tower was the second tallest building in Michigan once it had been originally completed in 1928. It stands 35-stories, with 2 basement floors. The building is intended with Neo-classical design, Chicago college, and Beaux-Arts styles. Stone could be a outstanding material within the building’s surface. It had been designed by architects prizefighter Kamper and Paul Kamper for Theodore Eaton.
The tower is found at the Southeast corner of Woodward Ave and Witherell St., facing Grand Circus Park, in downtown metropolis, and stands across the road from the David Whitney Building, and stands within the “Foxtown” neighborhood of metropolis.
