Dalmeny is a city in the central half of Saskatchewan, Canada, named when Dalmeny, Scotland. The city is found within the rural municipality of Corman Park. The Dominion Land Survey description of Dalmeny’s location is Section 10 Tsp 39 Rge 6 W3. The Dalmeny district was first settled around 1900; many of the early settlers were Mennonites. The city web site developed in 1904-1905 with the arrival of the Canadian National Railways Carlton railway line and also the Winnipeg – Edmonton path. A year later, the post workplace opened, the primary grain elevator was engineered, and a retail store was established.
