Lawrence for concerning 2 years throughout the Nineteen Twenties.The 160-acre (0.65 km2) property, originally named the Kiowa Ranch, is found at eight,600 feet (2,600 m) higher than water level on Lobo Mountain close to San Cristobal in Taos County, concerning twenty miles (32 km) northwest of Taos and more or less a six-mile drive from the marked turnoff on route NM522.
