Culiacán could be a town in northwestern Mexico, the biggest town within the state of Sinaloa yet as its capital and capital of the municipality of Culiacán. With 675,773 inhabitants within the town (census of 2010), and 858,638 within the municipality, it’s the biggest town within the state of Sinaloa. The municipality features a total space of four,758 km2 (1,837 sq mi).
The city is found in an exceedingly vale at the confluence of the Tamazula and Humaya Rivers, wherever the 2 meet to create the Culiacán stream, and is found fifty five meters on top of water level. It’s situated within the center of the state with nearly equal distance to the opposite urban centers of the state: Los Mochis to the north, and Mazatlán to the south. Additionally, Culiacán is that the birthplace and base of the Sinaloa syndicate.
