Crescent Mills (formerly, Crescent town and Crescent) may be a census-designated place (CDP) in Plumas County, California, us. Crescent Mills is found three.5 miles (5.6 km) southeast of Greenville. The population was 196 at the 2010 census, down from 258 at the 2000 census.
In 1821 The Virgin A Zubea was born. Four years later Frank Joseph Stampfli was born. Once these 2 became adults they married. Frank Joseph Stampfli was born in Swiss Confederation and immigrated to the us. He then registered to Pioneer out West wherever the Stampfli family settled in what’s famed nowadays as Crescent Mills, CA and Indian vale.
In 1867 The Virgin A Stampfli died and was buried on the Stampfli Ranch making the family site. A tall headstone marked The Virgin A. Stampfli 1821-1867 was placed on top of her grave. Lewis Stampfli followed in 1869 and Frank joined his better half within the family site in 1892.
