Crab plantation could also be a city in Cumberland County, Tennessee, u. S.. The population was 838 at the 2000 census. The town is ready atop the chain throughout a spot amidst the Crab plantation Mountains, a sub-range of the geological formation. This gap has long been frequented by travelers between East and Middle Tennessee. Today, every interstate forty and U.S. Route seventy converge with Crab plantation. Large Rock Mountain (el. 2,703 ft/824m) rises prominently to the north of Crab plantation. Haley Mountain (el. 2,660 ft/811m) and Black Mountain (2,827 ft/861m) dominate the scan to the south.
